Google to own the Internet?
A really good read detailing future plans Google may have, some of its strange purchases and the amount of network fibre cable it owns.
Well worth a read.

Skype Fees Change
Skype has lowered some fees, introduced a new package, but also a connection charge.
I wouldn't call it "silent", I've known for a while.

about:buildconfig
about:cache
about:config - Very important for tweaking FF.
about:plugins
about:credits
about:Mozilla - This is my favorite.

Overclocking Guide Part 3
Tom's Hardware has compiled the third article in its series on how to overclock.
Its been a great and handy series so far (links to the previous articles are at the top of this new article), although for the minute I am going to stick with my already overclocked XFX graphics card and Asus NOS to do my processor!

Terrorists use Google Earth to find British Troops
Terrorists are using the satellite imagery of Iraq that is provided through Google Earth to attack British Army bases. Although the imagery can be 2 years old, hardened bases will not have moved. More at source.

Seagate 2.5" 15K RPM Drive
Seagate have started shipping 2.5" drives which spin at 15,000 RPM. They claim that they are even 10% faster than standard 3.5" drives in desktops (which spin about 5,200RPM).

Asus Striker Extreme
The Intel counterpart (exactly the same, but for Socket 775, and with a few tweaks) of my Asus Crosshair Motherboard is the Asus Striker Extreme. Take a peek at the review, its fairly stunning;

Nothing much new...
There's nothing much interesting being posted anywhere now. It seems there is a lull following the end of CES...
